WINTER STORM NEMO
Winter Storm Nemo was a powerful and historic storm that impacted the Northeastern United States and parts of Canada in February 2013. The storm brought heavy snowfall, strong winds, and coastal flooding to areas from New York to Maine, causing widespread travel disruptions and power outages.
Nemo was a particularly intense storm, with low atmospheric pressure and strong winds that created blizzard conditions in some areas. The storm dropped as much as 40 inches of snow in some areas, particularly in eastern Massachusetts and parts of Connecticut. The high winds and heavy snowfall led to extensive power outages, with more than 600,000 homes and businesses losing power in the region
